The Pevensies are back, guys!

Yup, Peter (William Moseley), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and Lucy (Georgie Henley) come back again to the world of Narnia. Although they’re still teenagers in the real world, but Narnia has goes around in about 1300 years. And ofcourse, so many things changed in Narnia since their first journey.

This sequel announce us a new – ehm – charming guy, Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes). Ewh, this will be a hard thing to choose one of these three cute guys! =) Fortunately, the prince isn’t a wicked character. He exactly asks for help to the Pevensies to get his throne back to his hands, as The King of Caspian.

Besides that, The King Miraz (Sergio Castellitto) is Prince Caspian’s uncle. He is exactly the one who isolated the prince and stole his throne, and planned to give the throne to his newly-born-son, later. King Miraz assisted by the wicked soldiers, The Telmarines.

What will happen to The Pevensies? Will Prince Caspian get his throne back successfully? And how Narnia looks like after the 1300 years?

William Moseley

Name : William Peter Moseley

Born : Gloucestershire, April 27th 1987

Fave movies : Fight Club, Romeo and Juliet

Before the shooting of Prince Caspian begin, Will had to learn about kick boxing first in a gym in Brooklyn. Will admitted that he was a little nervous and scared when he was in the gym, cuz there’s so many black people in the gym, and Will felt, in their eyes he’s just a little boy with the strange accent. So he had to try harder to be exist in their opinion.

Oowww…you don’t have to try so hard to be exist in our heart, Will! =)

Skandar Keynes

Name : Skandar Amin Casper Keynes

Born : London, September 5th 1991

Fave Movies : Saving Private Ryan, Shrek 2

Since the prequel (The Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe) launched in 2005 until the shooting of Prince Caspian have done last year, Skandar grows 17cm taller! If Edmund character in the first movie looks cute, now we can see him – ehm – more handsome and taller! =)

During the shooting of the Prince Caspian in New Zealand, Skandar tried the bungee jumping more than once there. FYI, bungee jumping is one of the most popular sports in New Zealand.

He had tried the bungee jumping from the top of Sky Tower, tha highest tower in the Southside of the earth. The he also tried the Canyon Swing, that has the longest rope in the world, according to Skandar.

Wow, you must be sooo proud, Skandar!

Anna Popplewell

Name : Anna Katherine Popplewell

Born : London, December 16th 1988

Fave Movie : The Wizard of Oz

Anna stated as one of the students in the first year in Oxford University. She took the English Literature. Anna admitted that she loves to act very much, but she’s more like to school. And according to her, she’s a little bit kind of “bookworm”. Hahaha, surprisingly unexpected, isn’t it?

And while she acted in the Prince Caspian, she almost didn’t join the prom night in her school. But surprisingly, Andrew Adamson, the director of Prince Caspian, knew that and then let her went to London and joined the prom.

Wow, what a nice director he is!

Georgie Henley

Name : Georgia Laura Henley

Born : Ilkley, West Yorkshire, July 9th 1995

Fave Movies : Shrek, Billy Eliott, Sleeping Beauty

Different from the first movie of Narnia, in this film The Pevensie girls have some shoots of riding a horse and fighting. Georgie that plays Lucy Pevensie then had to learn to ride a horse with Cameron, a little horse. After that, she could ride the bigger horse for take some shoots.

Ben Barnes

Name : Ben Barnes

Born : England, August 20th 1981

School : Kingston University

Wow, I know that this is the part that you guys waiting for, right?! =)

Ben ever had a small role as the young Dunstan Thorne in the great Stardust movie. But in England, Ben is more well-known as one of the players of a drama musical titled The History Boys. Maybe several of you guys ever heard or even watch it.

FYI, as the Prince Caspian, Ben had to use the tan skin cream thickly. Besides that, he also had to use hair extension, and because of that, his head was full of glue and made him hard to sleep. Hahaha, poor Ben!

Wew, actually, before play in this movie, Ben only had ride a horse once! And he also admitted, that he is not a person that could be chummy with animals. That made him a bit hard to play in this movie.

Wow, whereas he’s sooo nice for us, right girls? =)

10 Hilarious Facts About The Prince Caspian Movie

The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian has made with 10 times scale bigger than The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. What a hard work!

· The players and the crews of this movie came from 15 different countries! They’re from New Zealand, USA, Czech Republic, England, Australia, Canada, Germany, Poland, Spain, Mexico, Italy, and France.

· There was total 9 languages uses during the shooting! Wow!

· When Peter and his brother and sisters started their adventure in London tube station, this shoot actually taken in Henderson Studios in New Zealand. Several outdoor shoots also taken in New Zealand. And don’t be confuse if you see some places that seems like Middle Earth in The Lord of The Ring. For example, the shoot which shows The Pevensies come back to Narnia taken in The Cove Cathedral.

· Barrandos Studios which is in Praha, Czech, be the main shooting location in this movie. The others movies that located in here such as Casino Royale and Bourne Identity.

· The biggest set in Barrandov Studios is the castle of King Miraz which was used 6000 square metres area. There was needed 200 workers to make it in 15 weeks. And in the movie, this castle still have to be 3 times larger used CGI effects.

· In one day, the crew prepared 1100 sets of food for the workers in this movie! Total, in almost 7 months shooting, there was 200.000 sets of food used up! Wow!!

· Make-up for the many kind of mythology creatures in Prince Caspian needed soo many times to prepared. Black Dwarf Nikabrik character, for example, needed 3 and a half hours to ready. In about 50 make-up artists had to come earlier than the others crews everyday. The first call for make-up is at 01.30 in the morning! Wew!

· The bridge which is in the scene before the big climax fights located at Soca River in Bovec, Slovenia. 20 architects worked for designing this bridge for a month.

· Visual expert Richard Taylor prepared 600 kinds of weapons for The Telmarines that leaded by The King Miraz. The weapons such as spears, swords, chopping knives, shields, and archer’s bows.
